Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager will assist in the execution of high-impact/complex cross-functional projects to improve processes and create operational efficiency
  • Participate in major initiatives critical to successful operations including identification of issues, compliance parameters. planning, process design and documentation, leadership on system and technical solutions, and implementation across internal departments
  • Identify, analyze, develop, and implement strategic process and technological improvements to mitigate risk within and across multiple lines of business
  • The Project Manager will make recommendations for process and/or technology improvements that are within the LOS or outside LOS if appropriate
  • Develop and maintain project plans including communication of status and needed decisions to all related LOBs
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate project events timely with a focus on ensuring all impacts are considered on a holistic level for DH and each LOB
  • Document existing processes, policies, systems, software applications, and data interfaces as needed
  • The Project Manager will establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and external vendors
  • Prepare and present clear, informative project presentations
  • Any and all other duties as requested by management
  • Adhere to all corporate policies

Required Skills, Experience and Ability:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • 5+ years banking/mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of technology and the mortgage industry, preferably with experience using a loan origination system such as Ellie Mae Encompass
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal collaborative skills communicating with all levels of the business
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to adapt to the Deephaven culture and environment
