Mortgage Document Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews loans submitted by our brokers to ensure all required documents have been received for processing and underwriting
  • Perform all related tasks required in setting up loans in our loan origination system
  • Work with internal staff and our brokers to obtain missing documents needed for processing and underwriting
  • Create and keep updated appropriate procedures
  • Support processor daily with assigned tasks
  • Achieve the ability to assist in handling loan-level compliance related questions & issues and in the preparation and dissemination of new and updated mortgage compliance standards and procedures
  • Ability to be cross-trained or handle multiple functions outside of normal job responsibilities or assist team members with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Any and all other duties as requested by management

  • Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
