Mike was born and raised in Minnesota (yes, a proud Vikings fan) and moved to Charlotte, NC in 2011. He has been with Deephaven Mortgage for over 6 years and is still loving it here every day appreciating our innovative approach to the non-QM industry. Mike’s expertise spans loan origination, processing, underwriting, and branch management allowing him to navigate intricate lending scenarios and tailor solutions to meet clients’ needs. His consistent ranking as #1 in funding non-QM volume since 2017 underscores his proficiency and dedication to delivering results.

Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of hobbies that bring joy and balance to his life such as sharing adventures with his wife Jessica and their five children through water skiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. He stays active golfing, daily three-mile hikes, cooking, and spending time with close friends during gatherings and the good ole southern cook-out.
