Luke Turner is a regional vice president of wholesale sales at Deephaven Mortgage. Luke’s expertise in non-QM and his ability to effectively lead his team has been fundamental to Deephaven’s growth in the non-QM sector.
Luke’s first career was spent serving in the United State Marine Corps where he loved every minute and felt lucky to wear the uniform. Deephaven is very appreciative of Luke’s service to our country! After transitioning out of the military he began his mortgage origination career as a retail loan officer. His success allowed him to become a branch manager and serve across several branch locations.
Prior to joining Deephaven, he was looking initially for career growth and challenge. As he learned more about Deephaven he learned that he would not only be enriched by the responsibilities of the position but would have the opportunity to work alongside some industry titans and learn from them. Upon embarking in the new role, he found that all of his hopes were greatly surpassed by the reality of collaborating with so many talented individuals who took the time to pour into his personal and professional growth and development.
It is no surprise then that this favorite thing about Deephaven is the people. The mortgage industry has its challenges and stress at times. Being a part of such a fantastic team makes everyday fun and exciting.
Luke is married to a beautiful lady and they have the coolest little boy together. Spending time with them and building all the Lego sets is something that makes him smile. He is an avid snowboarder and enjoys all things adrenaline producing. He loves his motorcycles and rides one of them almost every day of the year. The best part is coming home and
spending time working on them with his boy…or as his son says, “time to work on the motorpopcycles”.
